This is a poem written by a very good friend of mine.
Leave me the scars of your pains,
and I shall bear your cross through eternity.
those pains that stabbed those bleeding scars,
those scars that marked the unhealing heart
I shall quench that thirst for love and acceptance
I shall heal those wounds that continuously bleed.
I shall wipe those tears that had covered ur soul
I shall embrace that body that seemed so cold.
just utter my name and I shall come
never shall I ask for anything in return.
just whisper your name softly to ma ears,
Just shed them all into my shoulders.
For I am your only refuge in this war against yourself
I am your only light in this forsaken darkness
I am the only friend you could find and have left.
I will always be here waiting

रुवाउन मन लाग्यो
Man is born free, and everywhere he is in shackles- Rousseau

How could we get something out of the present system and the present leaders??
Couple of points I think could streamline the politics in right direction in Nepal:
1. Having the candidates debate within their party and with the members of other parties for at least 6 months before the election.
2. Make them address the problems of the place they are representing and what their approach will be concerning reduction or minimization of the problem.
3. I don’t believe that having Dr. associated in front of name would make them pragmatic, so everyone, regardless of ethnicity, cast, sex and education should be given the chance to participate in debate.
4. We should get reasonably educated members of that society and educated neutral people from Nepalese living all over the world (appointed for this special cause) vote over the rationality and leadership qualities this member presents. This member then competes with the other similarly appointed member from other parties in general election.
5. Media should be free from yellow journalism and it should also be freed from the grip of the established powers
Having (closely??) watched the US presidential debate, I thought this is what we can apply in our country to get something out of present leadership. What it would do basically is enforce these leaders to have vision and strategy to achieve them. This would, in my opinion, step up the politicians from the rhetoric politics to the real politics. They would be evaluated in the next election on the basis of honesty and accomplishment they show in solving the problem.
There are a lot of problems associated with this method. Few are:
1. Special interest groups funding the members to maneuver the politics in their direction. The best way to solve this would be free and independent media.
2. Possibility of relatively less educated and voiceless people being left out of membership: Some people call it Brahmanism. Brahmanism won’t go away unless we give education to the oppressed cast and make their voice louder. Make no mistake, Brahmanism don’t represent Brahmans only, it represents all the people in power who show no concern, whatsoever, towards the under-represented and under educated people in the society. It might be politically incorrect to use word Brahmanism because it is offensive to the Brahmans in good faith.
3. Doubt over whether the established members within the parties are willing to give away their membership to the more qualified junior member of their party.
I believe this is a proactive approach to stepping up the quality of leadership. Comments on this idea or presentation of other pragmatic ideas would highly be appreciated. Let’s not be reactive or cynical about what happened in the past but try to find the solution to the present chaos keeping in mind the vulnerabilities and mistakes exposed in the past. The country no longer belongs to the particular family and it is our responsibility to head it in the right direction. It is the collective effort of Nepalese from every corner that matters.

God, what does it mean to me
If god exists and provides the explanation for everything:
1.There would be system set up in the universe where everything could survive without doing evil things.
2.Tigers and lions in the Forest can not do without killing other animals( their digestive tract can not digest grasses if we consider grasses to be non living)
3.there is no alternative for tigers and lions except to rely on killing.
4.Pursuing only mean of survival can not be evil.
5.Killing is not evil or god is evil in creating such a circumstances.

Another contradictory view:
Does God exist?
An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty. He asks one of his new students to stand and .....
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student: Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes.
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)
Prof: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fellow. Is God good?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From...God...
Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student: Yes.
Prof: So who created evil?
Student does not answer.
Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student: Yes, sir.
Prof: So, who created them?
Student has no answer.
Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.
Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat ?
Prof: Yes.
Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student: No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)
Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold.
Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)
Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student: You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light.... But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure.Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.
To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved
from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)
Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?
(The class is in uproar.)
.........................................................................................................
Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)
Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)
Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student: That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH.
That is all that keeps things moving & alive.
The name of the student was Albert Einstein.
And yet, another contradiction::
Einstein wrote in 1926: "Quantum mechanics.....says a lot, but does not bring us closer to the secret of Old One. I, at any rate, am convinced that he does not throw dice." Einstein is the one who threw probabilistic theory in quantum theory. Attempts to throw quantum theory by an underlying deterministic theory have failed. There appears to be fundamental randomness in nature at microscopic level. ( Ira N. Levine, Physical Chemistry, fifth edition, McGraw-Hill Higher Education, page:611)
Now lets change the context:
When billions people think that a heavy object cannot possibly be flown in the sky, it does not become a fact. Wright brothers showed it to the world. When something has been worshiped for millions of year it does not become a reality.
Pascal wager's argument on betting on god or betting on atheism, really is very fascinating. It uses the probability of winning your opinion and profit from helding your opinion, to calculate expected profit. No body would ever want to be an atheist if they believe in his argument.
Again, whoever says that science argues for the inexistence of god is completely false. Many prominent scientist believe/d in god. There are so many things that science cannot provide the answer to. How did human beings arrived in this world? Well someone might say evolution. But how did that life force came inside?
My views on optimism/pessimism (copyrighted)
*There is a glass with half full of milk and half empty.
* I claim that person who sees the half full of milk is a loser and pessimist.
* Person who sees the half empty part thinks about the possibilities that half empty space could have. He could fill the glass with somethink better than milk.
*Isn't seeing the prosperous future equivalent to being an optimist and being content with what you have today being a pessimist.
Anybody who has gone over this long monologue, by now, might have reached at conclusion that I am an atheist. No, I am not. So as much as I would love to believe in god and believe in god, there is no concrete pattern in the world that seems to be co-ordinated by an omniscient and omnipotent being. Or is god in vacation?
here is my idea of god:
God is a faith, is an unerstatement or an attempt to ignore the very existence of god. What is humanity? It is the love for human, right? Yeah I believe in humanity is just a statement. Manifestation of belief in humanity is seen only if you love all the human beings. Humanity is a concept or a term that represents love for human. So humanity in itself does not exist, humanity is a contingent term that requires the further explanation. Love for human would be the necessary truth that is self contained.
God, similar to humanity is a concept. If you don't have love for everything that exists and cannot appreciate the beauty in every living and non-living things then saying I believe in god is sheer hypo criticism. There lies beauty in the sole-existence of these things, if you cannot identify the beauty then you don't believe in god. God is not the sewer of your pain and despair, but is the realization that everything that exists has a potential to make this world a better place.
This is a potential energy that is antithetical to the principal of conservation of energy, the more potential you use (produce kinetic energy), there will be geometric increase in your potential energy. It is a win-win situation, you get chance to increase the kinetic energy (good thing), while you are increasing your potential energy (being close to that concept of god).
Higher the amount of energy you are able to accumulate in your lifetime, the more godly you will become.
Atheism, then cannot exist. Either you have god in your heart or you don't. If you have god in ur heart manifested by love for every thing that exists, then you are godly. If there is absence of god, then you are a devil.
If you say you are an atheist, but you have compassion in ur heart then you are not an atheist. You are the perfect being, who doesnot like to be noticed of their deeds. Like a flower spreading its aroma, without any expectations, from the shade under a tree.
If atheism arises from the disgust towards division and slave mentality created by religion, then also you are not an atheist. You are closer to that concept of god than the people who chant emotionless "Holy Mantras" numerous times a day. God doesnot want anyone to waste their time doing fruitless thing such as eulogizing "so called GOD, said to be present in church. masjid or temple".
What will the gods of animal be like? Who are we to say that god is of the human form? Our cliam can only be justified (if it can be) on the basis of intelligence human beings possess. Isn't god assumed to be located in heart, like most of you guys believe? Dogs possess acute sense of smell than human beings do. I'm sure there are other animals which will surpass us in other senses. We have seen the tears in the eye of an elephant, isn't that a sign that they might not be intelligent by our standard but they are intelligent and full of emotions in the way human beings are not able to figure out?
What I am saying is that personification of god is a construct and giving it a human form is denying the very idea that "god is omnipresent".
"To those who think of god as an ocean of energy and their essence as a drop of it.":
You have a right of any opinion. But my question is: Isn't the ocean confined within a fixed space? It might be big for human eyes, but is that the limit of god (equated to infinite energy)?
Pond is a miniature of ocean. God to me is absolute nothingness, god is ultimate non-being. Nothingness knows no boundry.
Like an onion, untill we shred all the layers cast upon us, we will never get to that nothingness. Just like peeling layers of the onion, make our eyes tear, peeling this ignorance untill we experience nothingness might be difficult, but it is the only way to experience nothingness (god). [idea of absolute nothingness is of Osho, and they seem very convincing to me]
"To those who think hell is nothing more than depression or the consequences of our negative actions":
Have u ever seen woman who has been raped, a child who has been badly treated by his parents, a friend who has been bullied and consequently got depressed? Do they deserve hell? God like you said is not the facilitator of your journey to home, but is the realisation that "you are the god", that "all beings that are there are the god".
"allah and jesus and moses and krishna and buddha would all agree.":
That was a joke right? Sorry dude, if you still want to imply that personification and institutionalisation of god are real, and they are the only seller of the ticket to heaven, then your mind has been brainwashed before it got chance to grow.
Sorry guys for presenting my answers to the self imposed questions. They are, however, not self imposed. They were asked to me, somewhere else.

And yet, another contradiction::
